June Rodil, MS

Vice President

Born in the Philippines and raised in Texas, June Rodil has built a vibrant hospitality empire that mirrors her own dynamic personality. As CEO & Partner of Houston-based Goodnight Hospitality, she leads a diverse portfolio of acclaimed establishments that opened in 2019. From the beloved Montrose Cheese & Wine boutique to the MICHELIN Bib Gourmand recipient Rosie Cannonball (a James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Wine Program), to the MICHELIN-starred MARCH Restaurant—recognized as one of Esquire‘s Best New Restaurants and Robb Report‘s No. 2 Restaurant in America—each venue reflects her commitment to excellence. The group’s newest jewel, The Marigold Club, continues this tradition of exceptional hospitality.

A Master Sommelier and celebrated restaurateur, June has shaped over twenty successful hospitality concepts throughout her career, collaborating with James Beard Award winners and Food & Wine Best New Chefs. Her influence extends beyond Houston, maintaining partnership in the Austin-based June’s All Day, recognized as one of Food & Wine magazine’s Restaurants of the Year.

While her trophy case includes prestigious accolades—Wine Enthusiast‘s Sommelier of the Year, multiple Food & Wine magazine honors, and the rare distinction of being one of just 25 women in the Americas to earn the Master Sommelier credential—June’s true passion lies in creating experiences that bring people together. This spirit led her to create June’s Brut Rosé in 2017, a sparkling wine that embodies her belief that every day deserves a celebration.

Demonstrating that industry leadership and life’s simple pleasures aren’t mutually exclusive, June masterfully balances her passion for restaurant operations, wine, and championing diversity & inclusion through her work with Southern Smoke Foundation’s Board of Directors, World Central Kitchen’s Chef Committee, and the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Diversity Committee, while still making time for crossword puzzles with her husband, obsessing over her dog, admiring art, avoiding regular exercise, and laughing heartily with her friends.
