WHERE WILL I BE COOKING:

Chef Victoria Elizondo started her business in 2016 as a pop-up stand and ever since she has been known to showcase vibrant and authentic Mexican cuisine in Houston, TX. Six years later, she’s published her first cookbook, opened a stand-alone restaurant, and was nominated for a James Beard Award. Elizondo has represented her brand, Cochinita & co. in California, New York, Austin, Miami and Colorado. Chef Victoria is a true inspiration for many dreamers like her. Being a DACA recipient has brought burdens throughout her persistent journey but the support from the community she has built by offering a safe place for anyone to not only frequent Cochinita & co. for the food, but also for the sense of belonging and natural camaraderie among employees and customers.
