SSF does not report individuals to government agencies, law enforcement, immigration authorities, or other outside agencies.<\/p>\n<p>SSF will only share an individual\u2019s information with their authorization and when necessary to make a referral, coordinate care, or connect the individual with additional support services that may benefit them.<\/p>\n<p>We may also share information with service providers and vendors who help us operate our Services, such as technology, payment, and administrative providers. Information related to mental health services is not used for marketing purposes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Security and HIPAA<\/h2>\n<p>Southern Smoke Foundation maintains an active Business Associate Agreement (BAA) to support HIPAA-compliant collaboration with partner organizations and entities.<\/p>\n<p>For applicable program-related information, SSF utilizes Google Workspace under a HIPAA-compliant configuration, including encrypted Gmail and Google Drive, for the secure transmission and storage of protected health information (PHI).<\/p>\n<p>Access to shared files and spreadsheets containing program-related information is restricted to authorized personnel and protected through user authentication and administrative access controls. Such information is used solely for the purposes outlined in SSF\u2019s applicable program and partnership agreements.<\/p>\n<p>Based on these safeguards and our executed BAA, SSF may use secure Google Workspace tools, including Google Sheets, to coordinate program-related information in accordance with applicable HIPAA requirements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Data Security<\/h2>\n<p>SSF uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.<\/p>\n<p>However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Third-Party Services<\/h2>\n<p>Our Services may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, or services. These third parties may have their own privacy policies and practices.
