A Houston native, Helen is a key member of the Southern Smoke team as operations manager.
Helen started her career in the food and beverage industry, working at some of Austin, Texas’ top establishments, including the former Eastside Cafe and Home Slice Pizza. Upon returning to Houston during the Covid-19 pandemic, she started working on cases with Southern Smoke Foundation.
Helen’s role at Southern Smoke transformed from case management to operations. She processes applications and facilitates the distribution of grants, and also helps keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
