Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo are the acclaimed chefs and co-owners of the Brooklyn-based Frankies Spuntino Group, which comprises the restaurants Frankies 457 Spuntino, Franks Wine Bar, and F&F Pizzeria. Known to fans and friends as The Franks, the duo has come to be associated with a warm, simple, and entirely irresistible approach to hospitality and Italian-American cuisine. They are the co-authors of a classic cookbook, The Frankies Spuntino Kitchen Companion & Cooking Manual, and the co-founders of Frankies 457 Specialty Foods, which produces, among other artisan ingredients, a Sicilian extra virgin olive oil that frequently ranks among the best in the world.
